Oh, you're right Wordsmith! I forgot about that! But yeah, I guess Ice King forgot a lot of stuff, like in the Christmas episode in the old videos when he was still "Simon" he was crying about Betty (?) leaving him and how he didn't know what he did, but it was the crown's fault.

There's a bunch of episodes I still need to watch, I watched all of season 1 and half of season 2 today. Out of season 1 The Enchiridion and Henchman are my favorite episodes. It Came from the Nightosphere is still one of the best episodes, Lady & Peebles is fantastic as well.

Actually all his penguins have different names.

One is goonter, one is gaunter, one is gunter, one is gunther, etc.

And here I was thinking that he just had one special penguin, and the rest were just nameless.

I thought they were all named Gunter.
I love that name for pets.

I'm pretty sure it's Princess Monster Wife where you see him name them all different variations of Gunter.

Late on this, cuz Bre was playing Sims but this fucking episode.

I shed a few tears. I wanted to hug both Simon and Marceline.

Also in the flash back, when Simon saw little Marceline crying, my first thought was "he looks like John Lennon."

That was the most depressing episode they ever did. Wow.

So I noticed something

Two episodes in a row now the book "Mind Games" by a Jay T. Dawgzone has been mentioned, which supposedly gives advice on how to pick up women

Jake said in "Reign of Gunters" that it is full of bad advice.

I noticed that Jay T. Dawgzone seems suspiciously similar to Jake T. Dog, the T standing for "The". Because, you know, that is how he is always introduced in the opening.

Could it be that Jake wrote the book using a fake name, and later regrets the bad advice he gave his readers?

I love that Ice King talked about the book in both of the episodes. I don't know why, but it is more amusing that way.
Also that episode was dark

I don't remember who said it if it was Natalie or Pendleton Ward that said that Ice King calls all of them Gunter/Gunther and they are all different penguins all the time.

I guess Ice King forgetting everything is an allegory for Alzheimers. I wonder if the reason Marcelene traveled all of Ooo is because she wanted to forget about him? And now I wonder if her Dad had something to do with the Great Mushroom War because he's the Lord of Evil
