I've always liked the theory that AT is some sort of Tabletop RPG, like Gamaworld.
Except played by a bunch of kids.

This is stupid.

It's definitely not a show for everyone. The humor doesn't have a terribly wide range - boils down to mostly visual gags for the kids and nerdy references for the older teens/college students.

I remember seeing this storyboard that had this great joke which unfortunately didn't make the cut.

It's subtle stuff like that which I find really hilarious.

Just watched the genderbent episode, it was cute. The part about it being fanfiction was even more hilarious, I love it when creators understand their fanbase.

I really haven't seen many episodes of this show, but one quote really comes to mind:
