Bee and Puppycat has already made itself into one of my favorite cartoons right now.

All of the little sounds and voices are gloriously silly and just make it so great. Bagow!

Samurai Jack is getting his own ongoing thanks to IDW, and it has a character designer from the actual series doing the art.

I was thinking of adding 'Samurai Jack' to my standing order - IDW has done so well with Transformers and MLP that I should just commit to this title straight off the bat.

Hopefully the artwork - especially that of the backgrounds - stays true to the cartoon series.

Marvel's Ultimate Comics line is coming to a close, if this big new event with the word "Cataclysm" in the title is any indication. It'll be sad to see Miles go. Sure, his story went at a rather slow pace due to the writing and the once-a-month release schedule (compare to Amazing and now Superior, which get released twice a month), but I found it an interesting take. I'm hoping for a miracle in that Bendis manages to twist Quesada's arm and get Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man to continue as the only Ultimate title.

as opposed to the regular marvel universe, where people are douchebags because unrealism?

you know like how that time iron man led an entire war against other superheroes just because there was a stupid law that made no sense

Or the very recent first issue of their Infinity event where Cap and Hawkeye beat the shit out of a bunch of Skrull refugees for no good reason?

The A+X story? I actually enjoyed that one. Deadpool did most of the killing (it's kind of his job) and Hawkeye isn't that much of a saint either. Besides, those guys were pirates that were going to summon up some ancient evil; they had it coming.

i'm not saying it wasn't good (i'm not saying it wasn't bad either i haven't actually read it) i'm just saying that overall through the whole of the marvel series the heroes are all kind of dickbags

Pete seemed like the only non-dickbag, but he's dead now and has his body inhabited by a villain-turned-hero who's willing to kill villains and has his own private army complete with henchman and spider robots of all sizes.

well even then, spiderman's most known thing was making fun of people, he was kind of just a snarky asshole

and he's probably not dead for too long

That's a pretty good look at what could have been, Stranger. I feel like it was the protests in India that helped to cancel the show. While I think it's cool that these people protested for something they feel so strongly about, I really wish that they also had a sense of humor.

It's been 8 months since Pete died and I already forgot about the quips he throws around, daisies. Honestly I think I'll take this current level of Spider-Man for a while; I've been enjoying this different take mainly for the sake of it being so different. Maybe after this breather they can come back to Pete and decide not to shit on his life in a big way just because the writers can't come up with anything clever with Pete's current set-up in life.
