Man, Ozzy Osbourne's antics had made me forget a bit how fucking amazing Black Sabbath is. They were the highlight of a pretty packed weekend with Alestorm, Jeff Scott Soto, Sepulture, Steel Panther, Slayer, Behemoth, Avenged Sevenfold, Sabaton, Powerwolf, Skillet, Gojira, Limp Bizkit, Alice In Chains, Hatebreed, Rob Zombie, Bring me the Horizon and Gloryhammer. Missed Mastodon, Meshuggah and Powerman 5000 unfortunately, but all in all I had a great time at Graspop.

Not a bad guess, but it was the end of Suicide Note Pt. 2.

I had been wanting to get more into Lustmord but found it difficult to listen to it like I usually do since it's not really suited for active listening, being ambient and all. I had also got tired of the music in Morrowind so what I decided to do was replace it with Lustmord and let me tell you, it works. I can't always tell which feral sounds are part of the music and which ones part of the game.

Heard a new song on the radio over the weekend, didn't have a chance to look it up until now, but it's from Theory of a Deadman. Fairly surprising.

Metavoid is maybe my favorite of Lustmord's albums. Coincidentally it's also a collaboration album and has a different style than most of his other work. Them tribal sounds.

Atrium Carceri is another good dark ambient project.

I've been listening to Anaal Nathrakh for some 2 years now and yet somehow completely missed this song. Blew my face off. Here's hoping that new album comes out soon.

I'd been listening to Beyond Creation and Unexpect a bunch, but lately I'd been listening to the new Rob Zombie album.

That cover of "We're an American Band" reminded me that my sister met "Sweet, Sweet Connie". Or so she said, Iunno.

Anaal Nathrakh's Desideratum will be coming out on 28.10. while The Devin Townsend Project's Z2's coming out a day earlier. I'm hyped.

One day my boss is going to ask me about the music I've got playing as loud as possible in my little corner of the warehouse and I'm not going to have an answer for him.

Anyone else gonna see Slipknot on their upcoming tour? I just bought my ticket for when they com through here in a month and a half. It'll be the first time I've ever been to see any signed band, and I've read that Corey said this will be the last tour if it doesn't go well. I'd hate for them to split up, but given all that's happened lately, I understand, and it's better that they go out this way than barely hanging on and putting out music that gets progressively worse and alienating long-time fans.
