Saturday morning cartoons:
-Ben 10 Omniverse was solid.
-Green Lantern TAS was awesome with THE GODDAMN LARFLEEZE. Everything I could have hoped for.
-Young Justice is awesome as well. I like this version of Apache Chief because his power is to make an astral projection giant rather than turning into one.

This right here is enough reason for me to start watching

John Constantine: pulling off time-line altering magic by doing about 500 shrooms (though that's an oversimplifications if I've ever seen one).

We've got new Transformers Prime and Green Lantern coming soon in the UK - but no word on the next season of Young Justice yet.

I really hope we do see it aired here because the entire first series was a real masterstroke all round - excellent writing - watching it through a second time you pick up on all the little hints regarding the character's backgrounds and stuff that you wouldn't pick up on without having watched it through once already (for example - in one episode Artemis is prepping her arrows and an episode of 'Hello Megan' is about to air on the TV in the background - just before her mother switches the TV off - this happens well before the viewer is made aware of the significance of 'Hello Megan' re: Miss Martian; I love little touches like that).

Oh, I've figured out how Hellblazer fits into the DC canon, it takes places some time after the events of the Lucifer series.

More reasons to hate Cartoon Network: Green Lantern TAS was forshadowing Blackest Night and Sinestro Corps War in it's latest episode. There are no heroes left in man.

I watch Batman: Year One last night and it was amazing. I'm thinking about watching Superman vs. the Elite next. I would love to see a movie about The Flash in the same professional manner in which these movies were done.

Also, I love how upbeat and cheerful the theme song is.

Peopl are talking about comic book authors in the Movies thread, and that reminded me that I really need to check out some of Grant Morrison's work. I have heard nothing but good things about the Animal Man series, but I am also interested in Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth. Is that a good graphic novel?

Hmm, it's been a while since I read it. It's definitely interesting. Basically a horror comic and the artstyle is very trippy and messy. Might not be your cup of tea.
