Also DND I greatly enjoy the Transformers comics, More Than Meets The Eye specifically. Shadowplay was a great story arc, IMO. Have you ever read any of Atomic Robo? It's pretty awesome as well.

I haven't read Atomic Robo but I'll look into it.

I think Shadowplay is definitely a high point of the current direction IDW is taking Transformers in - I especially liked the twist at the end. I also prefer 'More Than Meets The Eye' to 'Robots In Disguise' (I think Rodimus and crew have the better/more interesting share of personalities).

Oh, definitely. It's the main reason as to why I enjoy it. The character interactions seem quite natural.

Im honestly thinking about giving up on mainstream superhero comics. Its just the same overused bullshit over and over, and the same lame giant crossovers that lead nowhere, and stupid reboots and pathetic cashgrabs and annoying writer politics.

I did this a few years ago and it's done me nothing but good. The only superhero comic I still regularly read is Invincible, which is all kinds of awesome.

Aw maaannn, Disney. Why would you do that? I think it's a rule of thumb that if you have an animated TV series, you do not completely change the art and animation style halfway through it. That's just not cool. :/

help me i'm stuck in 2006

Yeah 2006 it's Jake Long.

I only ever saw like three episodes of the first season back when it was on air and it instantly became a favorite show. Watching them all now, just hit second season.

why

And to top it all off, Disney discontinued it halfway through its run. Supposed to be 3 or 4 seasons and one or two LIVE ACTION movies.

Can you imagine how completely badass that would have been?

Edit: BAHAHAHA just reached the time travel episode with Squeaky Hunstman and Beyonce Timberlake.

I liked Juniper Lee more, mainly because she didn't talk like a rapper all the time felt less XTREME.

Both series were good, though I saw Jake Long more because CN decided to kill it by changing its timeslot every fucking episode.

I almost would think a crossover series would be interesting, but not sure it could work given the different world building.

Juniper's side characters were a ton worse.

Not to mention the kid brother who annoyed the fuck out of everything he seemed to be a part of.
