AWKWARD ZOMBIE

CGI can work for a show sometimes, but I am not optimistic for this at all when the original Xiaolin Showdown had 2D animation that worked awesomely, and the CGI version is considered a sequel.

The TMNT series pulled off the CGI well because the animators know how to use it and it's a new, standalone show.

I thought the CGI was just being done for the Shen Gong Wu sections to make them more fluid and... better.

I'm hoping Jason Marsden comes back to play Chase.


Grey Delise can stay away from Kimiko this time, get someone else. I never cared for Kimiko, mainly because Grey has like, two characters that I like her doing (Frankie from Fosters, Vicky/Tootie from FOP)

I'm not looking forward to the new character. An even smaller Omi with glasses and the element of wood.(Or is it forest?) Yeah, that sounds great.

the story is not going to change because the visuals are different

When you make a sequel to a 2D animated series and make it CGI, you run the risk of alienating a lot of people. This is a sequel to the series, apparently, and not some kind of spin-off. There are going to be people who wonder why you would go the CGI route instead of just sticking with what worked.

Although I will admit that this is better than the alternative that we could have gotten: shoddy Flash animation.

I was watching an old episode of Rugrats when ZELDA MUSIC comes outta left field. Seriously, that's why I love going to watch the shows I did as a kid, to see if I catch anything I probably missed
