Rogat Orjak basically have human shaped bodies. This looks much more like a, you know, dragon.

So VGCats and BitF are having some similarities in their latest strips.

So for the new Paranatural usually I hate Deus Ex Machinas but this one was really fun, interesting and cute (just like all of Paranatural) so I didn't mind

Thunt had a nervous breakdown of mammoth proportions, and it seems to have erased the ability to explain situations succinctly.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a new comic anytime soon.

From what I got out of it, he felt guilty for not drawing fast enough, because he keeps procrastinating? And then he yelled at his wife or something? And then he felt guilty about that? I havent followed Goblins in years, I just checked back in to see if the story had progressed any. It really hadnt.

Some of these internet personalities need to be kept away from the internet. They need a manager to keep the work at a reasonable pace, neither missing updates nor taking on too many projects.

Yeah, see, in the olden days, those were called "editors", before the Internet destroyed everything resembling a professional work environment

No need to sound so bitter about it

Emily Carroll has released a new comic!

Not sure who here reads her work, or has read it, but some have most likely seen them floating around the internet. She does a lot of macabre work with some really neat storytelling elements, whether they're within the drawing or through the site layout.

The Prince & the Sea is one of her more popular ones.

I'm not really bitter about it, Im just saying that while the Internet was a boon creativity wise, allowing artists to explore anything they wanted without fear of censorship, it does mean a signifigant lapse in professionality, since there is no one there to actually make sure they do their jobs with the ones who make a living off it. Can you imagine a syndicated cartoonists going AWOL as much as the VG Cats guy?

True, but AWOL in that case involves getting a job that pays better than comics. Inconsistent ad revenue is rough when you're trying to feed a child. The people who make the webcomic their job tend to be better updaters. But that's quite a gamble.

A good example of someone with a professional work ethic is Tom Siddel, the creator of Gunnerkrigg Court. Making the comic is his full-time job now, and his updates are always on time. He's got a hefty comic buffer in case of any sort of hiccup in his work schedule.
