I heard Drake Bell is Peter in Ultimate Spider-Man. I like Drake but please anyone but Spidey. I want NPH back.

Do you mean NPH or Josh Keaton? Cause I'm pretty sure that Keaton played Spidey for a long while and not NPH.

Also the main problem with Ultimate Spider-Man is the writing and not the voices. Drake played Spider-Man in the Avengers cartoon and he did pretty well there.

They both voiced Spidey. I think NPH did the games, mostly.

So Scarlet Spider and Venom are going to star in mini-event called Minimum Carnage.

For a refresher, Venom is not Eddy Brock any more. Flash Thompson, the guy that bullied Peter back in high school, decided to man up and join the army. He lost both his legs saving his allies and was sent home. But, he was given a second chance by some secret military dudes with a stabilized Venom symbiote that gives him legs when he wears them. Flash's Venom is decked in full combat gear and uses guns, as Flash is a trained soldier and all.

Scarlet Spider is not Ben Reilly from the Clone Saga. He is actually Kaine Parker from the Clone Saga. It's a long story (Spider Island kind of shows how Kaine got the costume and became kinda normal again), but Kaine wants to get to Mexico because he's on the lam, but he stops in Houston and stuff happens and he becomes Houston's Spider-Man. The thing is, Kaine doesn't have Uncle Ben's lectures about responsibility to keep him in check.

These are two of my fav series so far so I really hope this event turns out great.

It had great potential. The animation was great, it's just that there was cheesy writing in places more than it was tolerable.

I wonder if they'll be able to wrap Thundercats up so that it's not too open-ended, i.e. Lion-O actually gets all the stones or something.

Maybe they can have DC make a comic series? I could see that happening.

I really like Flash as Venom, I hope I get the chance to read this since I kind of liked Maximum Carnage as well (at least I think that's what I read, I get names mixed up sometimes).

The good thing is that the whole mini-event encompasses only six issues.

I'm watching BTAS and in one episode Batman says "Please let go of my cape" with a completely straight face and for some reason this causes me to lose my shit.

I think that was the joke. Also I am sad that some characters got no speaking lines.

Also, last night I had the pleasure of watchin' Black Dynamite. It wasn't bad, wasn't terrible, and didn't cause a fright. Instead, it was way WAY outta sight!
