AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I think Tom Sidell is good at making lighthearted a situation that is in all actuality pretty awful. It gives you the sensation of something being fun while you still notice how terrible it should be.

I don't understand how the latest GC could be considered fun at all.

Sick (50 word) burn, man. Never figured out if this comic was legit or it was made by a clever troll; its one of the many internet mysteries.

I certainly laughed at Jones casually wondering what a bomb to the face feels like.

Oh, see, I interpreted it as more of a solemn thing.

I thought Forge was just a fan name, his real name hasn't been revealed yet. If it has, I missed it.

Neat little piece of marketing and counterfeit control. If it's intentional and I'm not just seeing dead wombats in weird places.

I found a webcomic today called 'Meaty Yogurt' and I'm liking it. The basic gist of the comic is in the 'about' section: "Jackie Monroe’s town is cursed. Anyone born there will die there, and all the time in between is riddled with nothing but calm mediocrity. Jackie is determined to beat the curse and make something of herself, or as she puts it, “Live a life someone would want to read a book about.” "

It mentions things like sex occasionally, but it's pretty SFW.

So, if you are going to die in that town, does that mean you're immortal as long as you stay far away from it?

I think the point of the curse is that you always end up back in the town at the end of the life. It's a commentary on a social trend if that wasn't obvious.

Sounds like a quarter life crisis made manifest.
