God daisies I hope this movie does well. I was so excited when I heard Disney re-opened their animation studio. They can't close on me again, they just can't.

Personal opinion?

I expect it to be... mediocre. Notably mediocre. When you get past the whole nostalgia element, it's unlikely that it's going to be a movie worth watching again.
Why? Well, because the whole Retelling Of A Classic Tale But With A Different Ending thing is horribly... dated! It's notably shallow in comparison to modern movies! And ultimately, when most Disney movies are in 3D CGI, great 2D animation isn't so impressive anymore.

Yeah...

Either way, it's not going to fade into obscurity just because they've gone to making 3D CGI films instead of 2D animated ones. And what about Marvel?

I have yet to see Princess and the Frog but from what I've heard, it's a spectacular, well-worth watching film with amazing art directions and stunning backgrounds

So I'm going to see it eventually, if only for the artistic quality of it

Every animated movie (and even quite a few live-action ones) has a licensed video game nowadays. It's pretty much required at this point.

This morning Austin Powers 2 was on TV. Saw that by accident, and I was all like :awesome:
Finally I got to watch a different part then 3, never managed to see a cheap DVD around here.

Fun fact: The german voice actor for Dr. Evil is also the same voice actor for Darkwing Duck.
