Has anyone seen the Black Dynamite cartoon? I haven't, and was wondering if it was of any quality.

I just want to quote the movie, but none of the one-liners I can think of apply to the situation.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Young Justice.

Honestly I've never liked Superman - so I expected to be put off by Superboy.

I had false preconceptions about Superboy's origins so discovering that he is in fact a clone and an angry, jilted, imperfect individual with a chip on his shoulder from being forced to live in his 'father's' (Superman's) shadow makes him much more interesting (and relatable) - personally speaking.

I like Aqualad a lot too, but Robin and Kid Flash are kinda annoying.

Miss Martian is a bit 'cardboard cutout' so far - and I don't know what to make of Artemis, really - she also seems a bit conventional.

Motorcity is also pretty fun, the art style is pretty neat and I like the characters (especially The Duke of Detroit - his limousine-firing tank is fantastic).

I think that Miss Martian is a cardboard cutout because she tries so hard to fit in and find acceptance. She's a White Martian, and they face discrimination on Mars. This fact was revealed quite early on in the series, so it isn't much of a spoiler. She is able to be accepted by her friends on the team even when she reveals her true, much-less-humanoid form. In my opinion, she's loosened up quite a bit since then.

And yes, Motorcity is fucking brilliant.

Ok. That was cool.

Is it just a one-off thing or what?

Just a one-off thing, by the looks of it. I would pay a gorillion dollars to see this made into a series, though.
