On the latest page of Gunnerkrigg Court, does anyone else think that maybe Kat and Annie are seeing different things in this hallway? Kat's always been skeptical of supernatural stuff, but Annie acts like she's seeing something pretty impressive.

...that, or she's just trying to be nice for Mort. Eheheh.

Maybe Annie's connection with the Ether is showing her what it really looks like. You know how colorful, flowing, and symbolic everything looks when we go Ethernet surfing.

Also, this is a funny reversal of the first time they did that sci-fi roleplay thing, where the kids were all into it except Annie.

The logistics of that shield twirl thing make zero sense Thunt. It took me a while to even figure out what was going on.

Nerf Kore.

Kore's just kind of pissing me off at this point. He's this invincible figure who has no character, no explanation about how he can do the things he does (or even a hint), and he serves no purpose except as a plot device.

I got all my knowledge of D&D from OotS and this.
I wish I knew people who played it.

Mhhm, since Kat saw that man, I think maybe Annie an Mort are seing some kind of magic illusionary RotD, and Kat is actually seeing the 'real' place. Or maybe she can just see through illusions and neither views are technically 'real' or 'fake.'

Like Exeres said, pretty sure Annie and Mort are seeing the "real" Realm of the Dead in Aether-vision because they both believe in that and are in tune with how to work it. Kat however doesn't believe much in that stuff so it's conforming to her views and showing some cheesy funhouse.

Pretty sure at the end it's going to have at least one page showing how it looked from the Aether perspective.

But see I thought that too but then they didn't see the guy and so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that Kat is like immune to Aether or something.

I'm getting more and more of a feeling that while Annie is very much in tune with nature, Kat is tuned into technology. She's basically a genius, and she's doing things with robots that we haven't seen done by anyone else. It might factor into why she's called an angel by the robots, they actually see her as an angel through whatever kind of robotic aether-like they may have.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's how Kat's been planned to be right from the start. She and Annie are always displayed as having opposite affinities. Annie represents the forest, and Kat represents the Court. I'm pretty sure that's going to become more of a plot point later on.

I just found this one called Stand Still. Stay Silent that's a post-apocalyptic webcomic set in various Nordic countries which follows characters after an epidemic wipes out a large portion of the population.

The prologue just ended and the actual main story is set to start this Monday.
