I remember when I used to feel this way about pokemon.

I still feel this way about Pokemon.

If I could choose to be any bender, I'd be a waterbender. Because they are the best.

airbending is better through the use of science

Earthbender. Stones block pretty much everything but the theoretical soundbending and those icedisks that waterbenders can make.

Metalbending (earthbending Master Race).

Also, Galaxy, even though Airbending could be kickass, scientifically speaking, I think it's overall limited by the focus on spirituality/self-defense style of the Air Nomads.

A rogue airbender could be seriously bad. Inflating your lungs and making them explode, etc

We can bless our lucky stars that this is also targeted at kids.
Could be even more grimdark otherwise

i always feel sorry for waterbenders. with the discovery of metalbending, there's bodaciously nowhere that earthbenders cant bend. Only places devoid of air cant be bended in by airbenders, firebenders get to be lucky and just CONJURE fire, but large amounts of water isnt always conveniently nearby for waterbenders outside their home enviroments

They can do it when it's raining. And I think they might be able to, but it would take too much time to be practical in combat.
