i tried looking for symbolism. just made the plot more convoluted, if there was one. i can see the funny and shock value, but it's just.. nothing beyond that. except good animation and music.

I've seen Clannad at least four or five times and I still don't know what the hell I watched.


Its supposed to be dripping with symbolism, but I just like watching to watch it. One of these days I'll look for all the hidden meanings.
