AWKWARD ZOMBIE

It looks like Mathis, Jivi, Matty, Sette, and Duane may finally get to sit down together and talk about all this crazy crap that's been going on.

Duane and Sette have some of my favorite character interactions in fiction. I am particularly fond of how they have been acting towards one another in the past couple of chapters, and the last few pages does a good job of reminding me why.

I love Duane on this page. His elation at knowing that he doesn't have all the answers is fantastic.

But will no one think of those poor, traumatized chickens?!

Aww, Duane just wants to be FRIENDS. Quigley has such a cold shoulder.

Man, have those outright freakin' giant mecha on that latest page ever appeared before? Cause they seem like something we should've seen before this point.

I think they've mostly just been hinted to exist, so far. The most we saw before was the mining construct that the ghosts were possessing (and Uaid).

It seems like some major military thing is going on that they decided to bring out their big things. So far, they haven't really had any run-ins with the Crescian military aside from the town's corrupt guards and Toma's group in Ulestry, so it kind'a makes sense they they haven't had a reason to run into giant metal things stomping the grounds flat for no reason as there hasn't been much that would have warranted before the Silver incident (which just occurred last night in-story, if I recall...).

Either Bastion really does have Ilganyag with him or it was an illusion to fool Rahm into taking action. Either way I hope Bastion gets some payback for whatever happens next.

I just hope they don't do anything to make the best buddy wright duo that has yet to exist not have a chance to happen.

Can't someone take him to that farm upstate so he can take care of the puppies and kittens while he recovers?!

That's one way to go. They also seem to have specifically attacked his weak point for massive damage.
