Here's what happened.

A few days ago, a CWCki user saw a picture of Chris turn up in his "You might know this person" sidebar on Facebook. While there are a ton of Chris impersonators on Facebook, this one was using Chris's email address, the profile was set to private and more importantly a picture nobody had seen previously was his profile photo.

It was announced on the CWCki, and two days later Chris deactivated the account. Deactivation and deletion are different things, and deletion isn't possible because apparently deleting a Facebook account takes two weeks and Chris only had the account for maybe eleven days.

The only explanation is that Chris, in one of his visits to the CWCki(which I assume consist of no more than a very brief skimming of the main page), found out and ran away.

I really don't know what Chris would need a facebook account for anyway. Seems a bit... superfluous to me.
