I kinda felt like that came out of nowhere but then I remembered the whole "identical twins" thing with her brother and realized that it should have been obvious from that point so now I just feel stupid.

They're twins? I thought Claire was like 3 years older.

In the surprise twist of the century it turns out Claire is actually transhumanist and she is actually an android that the robot hand guy who's name I can't remember built in his own image.

Good for him that he doesn't let the negative feedback influence the storyline he had already planned out.

He was drunk at the time. Also he probably expects some backlash from bigots for this, but people getting mad at him for Marigold not being "large" enough came out of nowhere.

She said she was older, but their resemblance was remarked upon. I'm guessing that it's a sore spot with her that she does look so much like somebody else.
