Clearly this rules out any kind of "natural birth but changed later" origin.

I was worried that he was gonna die, I'm glad he hasn't. So far. I know how this comic treats its characters so I know he could die at pretty much any moment, but I'm hoping he manages to last a while longer.

I'm almost 100% certain that he's going to die at some point.

Although at the rate things are going, it isn't going to be until maybe the next story arc, or even after that.


It's just hard for me to see him having any sort of life after what he's been through. It seems like a hero's end is more fitting for him than peaceful retirement.

But, Biscuit has always been a character full of surprises, so I guess anything is possible for him. We'll just have to wait and see.

I think I might have quit the comic if he died at that point, seriously whenever I start liking a character Thunt kills them off.

Jeph Jacques, the Questionable Content guy, snapped and had some sort of nervous breakdown landing him in the hospital. Poor guy. It might have had something to do with the drama surrounding the bikini Marigold comic.

Wherein we see the other extreme of webcomics.

I don't understand where the drama came from. It seemed like a good enough joke about Marten's social awkwardness, got a little chuckle out of me anyway.

Was there actually drama, or was Syobon just making a joke? I wouldn't know because I don't read it.

People emailed him about not making Marigold fat enough. And the internet keeps you from stabbing other people, so he stabbed himself.
