I KNOW WHO AMON REALLY IS.
Interesting thought, but Chi blockers work by temporarily disabling chakra sections of the body, disrupting the flow and keeping benders from bending. If Tarlok is indeed Amon, could it be that he's using Bloodbending to fuck with the chakra spots to achieve the same results as Spiritbending without being Energybending (and being flashy)?
I was thinking about that as well, when I saw that they knew that skill. Also, my DVR cut the episode kind of short; it got to the part where the credits were rolling at the bottom during the show. Did it say
where Tarrlok was taking Korra, or what's in store next week?
And I'm with Topaz; a lot of stuff is gonna be revealed once
Korra has a chat with Aang. Also, another thing's been on my mind: Korra's
been knocked out three times already, but each time, you think she'd
have the Avatar State kicked into gear when her life was in danger, like it did with Aang. So when is THAT going to happen?
The episode ended with her being taken away in the car. We don't know where she's going, but Tarlok assured her that "no one will be able to find" her.
According to Wikipedia, next episode is about Lin
going after her missing Metalbenders. Maybe she'll find Korra along the way?And Korra can't
Access the Avatar State without being connected to her past life. Her lack of spirituality means that she can't call on their experience or power like Aang could.
Also, speaking of, could Aang be the cause
of Korra's lack of connection to her past lives? He nearly destroyed the Avatar Spirit when Azula nearly killed him, and while he did reconnect it and access the Avatar state in his fight with Ozai, he still didn't fully open his 7th Chakra. Maybe because he didn't fully master the Avatar Spirit, this caused his next successor to have problems connecting spiritually, kinda like Roku's lack of heart to fight Sozin could have contributed to Aang's sheer unwillingness to take Ozai's life (though I'm sure the Air Nomad teachings contributed too (but Yangchen never had this issue)).
Just a fan theory, but it makes sense to me.
And one more thing, did anyone else think that the episode was going towards a conflict between
Asami and Korra, what with
Ikki telling her about Korra's feelings for Mako and the glare at Korra in the mirror? My guess is that Korra is going to save Mako and he's going to either hug or facebattle her while Asami is there, and that's going to cause another 3 way tension like episode 5 did.
Anyone have a set of pictures with
Asami being devastated while holding the flower bouquet?
EDIT: Jesus Christ, these Spoiler Tags.
