I form my opinion from a scant few anime, I admit, but it still stands that it's a pattern I've picked up on. Examples include:
DBZ: Piccolo and Goku learn to drive
Bleach: The bleach gang pal around with a troupe of talking stuffed animals and fight soul vampires
Soul Eater: ...basicly all of their filler

My favorite animes don't even have filler come to think of it. Big O and Sayonara, Zetsubo Sensei never actually had filler. I don't think that G Gundam had any either. Wow, I guess I kind of contradicted myself. I'll shut up now. Maybe. probably not...

It's such a shame I became a jaded visual novel fan before I finished watching the anime. I wish they'd kept the scene in the anime where Rosa throws up after seeing their corpses and starts checking her vomit for candy. :awesome:

I did thoroughly enjoy Higurashi though, so it sort of balances out.

augh why is everyone reminding me of this I'm at school I gotta wait till I get home to watch this I need to watch 13 first ah god D:

welp, at least I know how i'll be spending my night.

AND SO I watched ep. 13 and 14. I was feeling kinda crappy before I started but not even like halfway through 13 I was feeling much better.

Also 14 was amazing and probably one of my favorites so far.
