AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I decided to binge watch this show last week and now I'm caught up. It took me a while to give the show a chance because Steven's character just seemed annoying to me in everything that I had seen about it, but I've ended up liking every character so far except a couple of minor characters (Mayor Dewey, Onion, a couple more).

Now to join the wait.

But this episode was cute, I liked that it was mostly song

i liked that they made it clear that steven is aware of how poorly greg and pearl get along and decided to try and fix it


also i can't wait for people to deny how gay pearl is now, i cannot wait, it will be glorious how far you're gonna have to stretch

Before anyone gets caught up in fan theories, it was Zach and only Zach singing in Both of You.

Of course she's got ferrokinesis. I like it.

I honestly expected her to get her extenders back, I never figured the rings. Mostly because I assumed the rings would be plastic.

Anyways, this episode was hilarious. I love it.

Wait, it's specifically metal and not just telekinesis in general?

I mean, that's how I read it at least. I think STeven said something about 'controlling metal'.

steven did say metal powers or something like that repeatedly

Anyway, as for the rest of the week...

I don't know WHAT was up with The New Lars. It just felt...uncomfortable. I don't know why. Just, the animation, the way that LArs' voice actor played it, the...revealing scene when Steven first showed up in Lars' body, it was just uncomfortable the whole way through.

Beach City Drift was much better, even if the question of how Stevonnie can drive a car is...existant. At least there is precedent that STeven knows how to use a stick, from Lars and the cool kids. I almost wodner if KEvin isn't gonna be some sort of character thing for Stevonnie, later. I subscribe to the idea that she might have some sort of glamour effect, and having Kevin's attitude of thinking people are obsessed with him in contrast to them being able to actually do that...well, it might be a thing.

Overall, it's a good time. Good game. Excited for the rest of the nuke.

Working on getting caught up. Maybe Farscape just spoiled me as far as bodyswap episodes go, but The New Lars was just…painful. Can we just remove Lars from the series?
At least Beach City Drift was a step up. Can we all agree that Stevonnie's most impressive power is knowing how to drive stick when they've never driven before?

Between the new episode and The New Lars, Steven seems to be a major shipper and I approve of this.
