I think John might be like, condoned by Paradox Space to be the Anti-English. Ultimately benevolent, with not all of time at his command, but reality itself, over all timelines and possibilities. The Alt!Calliope they're looking for would be the best match in a fight, and ultimately the only true equal. But John is looking a lot like, well, the doctor to the cancer that is English.

All his efforts recently have been actively trying to break down what Caliborn does, to whatever extent he can. Caliborn is familiar with him jumping into his session by the time of [S]Game Over, but John's only done so from our perspective a few times. Maybe that's how he uses his new power. He scouts out Caliborn's session and tries to find his weak point, all while trying his damnedest to make life as hard as possible for him.

That was the most satisfying flash yet, I think.

My only issue is it was so short. I'd have been so beyond okay with just a solid few minutes of John playing, and then it cuts to his blustery shit everywhere before he fills the fucking universe with wind.

I've always been sort of curious how John's windy powers would logically manifest at their greatest, especially compared to Time and Space which are both insane, but as it turns out he probably really has been the strongest person in the series.

I'm betting it was because he used his planet as a catalyst to supercharge his powers, like the Time players do during a Scratch.

I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that normal pipe organs have buildings built around them just to have somewhere to keep and play them, meanwhile John just played one with a planet built around it

I think it's less "John teleported his planet" and more "John fucked something up by ejecting the game while it was still on"
