Its been who-knows-how-many-years.

The crater may have filled up or something.

Plus, they rarely even talk about the crater in Adventure Time.

Has anyone noticed this? About Marceline? It may be a spoiler so to be sure:

Marceline's dad is a demon, so if her Mom was mortal, who was the one that turned her into a Vampire? In the episode between Finn the Human and Jake the Dog, she was 1000 years older, meaning she never met the Vampire that turned her to keep her young.

ALSO

Something's really strange about Peppermit Butler. Notice that he seems to be tied with Marceline's dad, and at the same time, refused to get his aura reading done when PB was showing it off to Finn and Jake.

It might be that Simon was the one who had her turned, in order to keep her alive as a child. Without him, she didn't turn until very late in her life.

Pen Ward said that there was a Vampire King, but Marceline killed him and became the Vampire Queen.

Peppermint Butler is also apparently part of/affiliated with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which means he may have existed before candy people.

Yea my best guess is Without the Nuke going off the vampire king was never created, thus making marceline a half-mortal instead of immortal

I saw Jake the Dad and I think the ending was kind of a rip? I think it seems kind of weird that they had this build up to the puppies but now it's implied they're all grown up and we might not see them again. It was just kind of disappointing because I actually started to like the puppies in the episode and now it just seems like a gimmick. I don't know.
