If you're seriously going to use the "was brought up by a vicious animal" point for Nepeta, you can't refute that point for Vriska, it doesn't work that way.
"Vriska killed to keep herself alive and got brought up by a spider and you know how spiders are"

I don't think Nepeta and Catmom(?) ate trolls though.

And Vriska could have fed Spidermom Lusii too. They're bigger than the Trollkids she gave her all the time anyway.

Nepeta just hunted wild animals and ate them, then used their blood to paint her shipping wall. If she killed trolls the blood on the walls would be multicoloured, and it was red. (She probably didn't hunt mutants like karkat either.)

Actually that would have been just as bad for the most part, don't forget lusii are basically parents for the trolls. Even if some are borderline gonna eat their kids someday anyway, or the trolls who were raised by the lusii able to take care of themselves, the majority of the trolls would be left defenceless and probably eaten or something.

And all the Lusii fed to the horrorterror were actually from the trollkids vriska killed, it was part of that partnership Eridan and Vriska had- They killed trolls together and fed them to spidermom, and then their lusii were taken to feferi via eridan to be fed to the horrorterror. If Vriska fed spidermom lusii, Eridan would probably be p*ssed off and betray her.

Probably not successfully, but he'd try.

The trolls higher on the spectrum kill because they can or they need to, the trolls lower on the spectrum either die or survive using whatever evolutionary/psychic mumbo-jumbo they have developed.

Nepeta's home was around before the trolls officially had multi-colored blood. It's probable that Hussie just had them all with red blood at that point.
Not to mention, like what tinning said, the wildlife and trolls co-exist. You kill a wild animal, some troll doesn't get a parent and dies.



Except the Lusii had to go to Dr. Glubsalot so no, she couldn't have, she had to use trolls.

And not all the fauna on the planet are lusii, like the fiduspawn animals.

Nepeta never meant to kill for fun. She might have liked it, but it was mainly fur purrvival.
Vriska on the other hand, killed because she wanted to on more then one occasion. Yes, she had to feed her vor8cious lussus, and that's one thing, but she also probably killed many other trolls because she just wanted too.

Except the fiduspawn seem to be a game, not a natural part of the planet.
We've never seen any animals who aren't lusii, and they seem to roam almost wild when not being guardians. It's fairly safe to assume they're all the planet has other than trolls.

also the rest of that quote goes on to talk about how she likes painting her walls with blood and wearing the skin of her kills so saying nepeta is not comfortable with killing seems a bit off



I don't think anyone is saying she felt bad. I'm just saying, comparative to some of the trolls who kill just for the sake of it (implied to be basically all of them), Vriska's really only acted in self-defense aside from one time.

There wasn't any remorse in the acts, but they're trolls, they don't have that built in. It's implied she only started thinking about it later because of John.
