That's how it works, whatever the sprite is prototyped with the moment it enters the medium is what gets sent to the... I don't know, prototype stations? Anyway, the fact that the B2 didn't prototype their sprites before entering is why they are in a void session in the first place.

Why doesn't aradia have a mix of Ghost, Steel and fire types?

Maybe substitute Fire with something that represents "Alive" more, but still.
