I mean, they made the hammer (even though John's already got one), sword, and needles. The Beta crew's getting trickster'd when they show up.

dave technically has bladekind
it can just switch between bladekind and 1/2bladekind

same way when John broke his hammer really early in his specibus changed to handlekind
