When I saw the last comic, I didn't think he was bowing - I immediately interpreted it as Orz / OTL

I even thought it was odd he didn't have a little poof of upset smoke over his head.

Yeah, it's pretty dark but this is kinda sorta the impression I get from this strip. X3;;

At first I was using letters from the speech bubbles but I got lazy. All done in paint! :3

Indeed. I use Arial with a bold style. That usually makes it look like katies text if you don't look too close.
