How long does Chris-chan usually give up the internet forever for?
'Cause I think he was last spotted in September or October.
LBP2 came out a week or so ago. And before that he got into DCU Online. He'll be gone for the better part of the year.
Now, context. As you all saw, Chris was really unhappy with the whole getting his just deserts for being a creepy fucker thing. As he and his parents are lawsuit pop flyin' rednecks, it's only logical that he chose to keep bitching about them.
Fun fact. Crystal is actually taking the place of Chris's mother in this case. No she wasn't at Target when he tried to run from the cops, but she was rustled when she heard (and stupidly trusted) Chris's version of events(the one where cops dogpiled on him for no reason, not the one where he resisted arrest).
After Sub-Episode 8, Barb told Chris to stop making Sub-Episodes. Chris does not remember why, and in fact would happily start making them again if he could be assed to draw stuff.
Barb, being a paranoid lawsuit pop flyin' redneck, likely obsessed over Chris's injuries as part of her plan to "get [the police] back". I personally think that may have contributed to her decision to make Chris stop the sub-episodes. I wouldn't be shocked if she thought that Bagget could sue them for slander(he is, by the way, a community hero who saved two people from a burning building) and ordered Chris to not make any more comics where he slandered local authority figures for illogical reasons.
The Shenanigans of Christian Chandler #5 is next.
