I thought it wasn't that anime studios didn't care but that it was hard enough to fight for the time slots that once you had it, you didn't want to take a break, meaning endless filler arcs waiting for the source to catch up (The big 3), alternate endings (FMA and Blue Exorcist), or ending the series only to hope they'd pick it back up later (Inuyasha). It's been trending recently that 1 season series have become popular and so the ideology has shifted to where you don't have to worry about being replaced by a long running series, making the third option more economical now.

Plus, anime can boost interest in the manga which leads to more sales and more momentum to bring the anime back when the series is over.

That at least was my understanding of the mess that is the anime timeslots.

Samurai 7 was awesome BUT WE'VE ONLY SEEN 3 WHAT THE HELL JAPAN 3 ISN'T 7.

Eureka 7's opening sounds like Code Geass's. And I can't quite put where I've heard Renton's voice before...

Aaaaand that sums up this week in animu. Oh, except that I already miss the filler arc of Bleach.

I think that Renton is voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch (Ichigo in Bleach). Maybe he's using a lighter voice?
