Folk music gets an automatic boner/boner from me. You simply can't not like it.

I'll continue with the same theme which I had planned before even listening to your song.

Has a Metroidy feel, if that makes sense, like stumbling upon a frosty wood hidden away in a dark corner far away from civilization. Dark, but not ominous or malicious. Like you're going to plunder/explore the wood with some viking bros. Feels grand, but in a kinda personal in a way, the chanting gives me chills. Will most definitely play this on road trips and long drives.

7 out of 10 Frosty Viking Homies.

Foo Fighters - Razor

I never listened to Foo Fighters, so I really didn't know what to expect. I was presently surprised. It's defiantly a song I could curl up to sleep to. The acoustic guitar is really soothing and the lyrics are quiet enough that while you notice them, they just seem like another instrument. Now I just need to start listening to some more Foo Fighters and find more about this band. 10/R-Kelly.

Well that was interesting and groovy even. The lyrics really got me emotional. I give it a John/brick wall.

Now prepare for 8 minutes of minds being blown. Turn up the bass.

Man, this would be an awesome track in a videogame. Very hyped up song and I love the variety in the bassline.

This is an awesome thread btw, although I wish I could write better reviews.

Well that was most chilling, again from some genre I have no experience with. Stuff to listen to while watching the rain.

Don't worry, it's not 10 minutes long. Youtube just decided to add a few minutes of silence.

Dark, spooky, and iiiintense. I was playing something while listening to this and had to stop just 'cause shit got too heavy. The instuments are played really well, with the nightmarish guitar certainly being the highlight. The more electric parts kinda put me off and wasn't a big fan of the vocals, still, good song overall.

7 nightmarish gardeners outta 10.

and now for something completely different.

Kinky - Mas

Has a reggae/jungle feel to it. Pretty upbeat, a song that could cheer me up and spur me into action. There's nothing I dislike in the track, I like how it combines electronic and organic sounds. Ah I see it's an SSX3 track, it does really fit that game. Energetic but still laidback.

A pretty calm beat, though I tend to prefer songs that are more lively. The instrumentals are nice, but I don't want to relax when I just woke up, I want to get blood pumping.

Especially homebrewed ones. Should check out CSGuitar89 for some slammin' video game rock covers, especially his Zelda stuff.

I normally don't go for the whole 8-bit cover thing, because it can be hard to do well, but that was quiet good. The remixer apparently did the whole thing within the restrictions of the NES's audio chip, which I thought was pretty cool. A tad repetitive, but that could be chalked up more to the original composition, with the remix suffering from a lack of vocals to spice things up. All-in-all, a very fun song, and a solid remix. I give this song a rating

Well the fact that you couldn't hear the lyrics to the song (I could only hear "girl" and "morning") makes me not like the song as much as I could have. However the instrumental was amazing and the girl has a talented voice. 6.8 Master Swords out of 10.

Awkward white guy conversation at the start threw me off, singer has a solid (if not a little generic) voice and doesn't breath-in every 5 seconds, nice piano/drums accompaniment, lyrics are a little "eh" (but more a personal bias), saw the ending coming but still made me chuckle.

Overall I give it 7 wrong facebook pages out of 10.

For those that don't know this song is a vocal remix of this you don't need to listen to it too, just a bit of info.
