today I went to GW and bought a crisis suit because a guy at Relic in a youtube video said they were anime inspired

jk lol they are just rad

the girl in the shop (girl in a GW????) came over and asked me if I was looking for something, and I said "Nah I'm just here to buy whatever takes my fancy" so she was like "Oh these new necrons are popular" and I was like "Stop talking to me"

I don't think I've ever seen anyone buy from our GW, the staff just sit around and play

Maybe I'll apply for a job

Scoot's been wanting to get into 40k and I kind of do as well. I want to make a Tyranid army, and I have the funds to do it so...

The two regular hobbyshops are pretty content to leave you alone unless you strike up first. Though, one is more dad and son rc cars sort of place, the other is more of a tabletop game shop.

They're VERY few and far between here, most people just go to hobbystores.

Sci-Fi City (if that's even in business anymore) used to hold games and sell em. Haven't seen one in ages. Don't even know if there's a shop around here though. I'd love to make a custom ork army though.

Oh, I saw an Iron Warrior's Omnibus at a bookstore the other day, is it any good? Iron Warrior's are my second favorite Chaos army, my first is the Death Guard.

Alright so I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the toys thread, but I guess either would work so

Here's a dreadnaught I've been working on for my Space Wolves. I made the guns by chopping up a few IG autocannons and sticking them together.

Pictures taken on a cell phone in my bathroom because it's the only bright light in the house.

^bigger and slightly better picture/angle

I still need to clean up the guns a bit, and then deck it out with some wolf pelts and whatnot. But I'm planning on doing that as soon as I finish my Land Raider, and then I'm going to do that to all of my vehicles at the same time.

And then after that it's time to paint.

More pics later when I finish the raider.

I'm reading Architect of Fate right now and I gotta say Tzeentch has the coolest daemons and the most potential for stories out of the Chaos Gods.
