AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Oh yeah, I'm a sucker for nods to previous titles in a series. But as far as a main storyline goes I think something new would be better than an attempt to adapt one of the games.

I hadn't even considered the thought of them trying to adapt one of the game plots to TV.

My mind instantly jumped to some kind of political drama between Hyrule and the Gerudo Valley that draws the Zora and Gorons in while Link gets sent off on a journey to various locations with at least one companion, finishing each season with them showing off how great a classic dungeon boss looks in professional CG, all the while building up background plot details during the course of the adventure.

It's actually a cartoon show.

It would at least make more sense than live-action imo. (But yes, it's more likely not happening.)

Well that was fun

Could possibly mean a number of things:
It wont be with Netflix.
It wont be Zelda but something different.
It will still happen but some of the details are off.

I want to believe.

I'd like to think that it has been long enough since the Mario Bros. movie disaster that Nintendo might consider letting their IP be used, but then again everyone remembers the Mario Bros. movie disaster and that would understandably make them hesitant to let anyone use their IP.
