I haven't enjoyed it for a while and was mostly watching to wait out Moffat leaving but at this point it doesn't look like that's happening.

I think having the characters naked the entire time is a very interesting literary device that should be used in all media

Idea for a running gag. The Twelfth Doctor manages to partially repair the Chameleon Circuit. First episode the TARDIS remains a police box, only changing its color. "Chameleon indeed..."

Next episode when taken to a more natural setting it takes on the appearance of a police box made out of moss covered stone. "Good try old gal.."

Third episode, the Doctor stops off in America to pick up pizza. The TARDIS covers itself in eagles, flags, and bikini clad women mudflaps. The Doctor walks in, travels to 1963 London, checks to make sure it's back to a blue police box, and then pours a soda on the Chameleon Circuit.

Someone needs to make a comic out of that.

I've done my part. Someone else it going to have to draw it. I put all my points into acerbic wit when I rolled this character. I can't art.

Just because the guy in charge is scum doesn't necessarily mean the show is completely ruined. I mean, Harlan Ellison worked on Babylon 5, and look at how that show turned out.

Except it does matter to the show since all those people he has shitty views about are kind of the people he's writing characters for. You seriously cannot pretend that someone's personal views and bigotries won't (or haven't) seep into his work.

Oh, they have. I just don't think he's gone beyond a point of no return. I still enjoy this show; I just want him booted from it before too many of his views become intertwined with the plot and the characters.

They already have. It's so readily apparent that I'm honestly floored you haven't seen it yet.

Hey, in the recent season premiere, does anyone know if that couple were lesbians? I honestly couldn't tell.
Jokes aside I really like Capaldi even though the episode itself wasn't exactly the best.

It seems nobody cares about this show anymore BUT just in case someone does:

Remember that character from Day of the Doctor and Death In Heaven who was supposed to represent the fanbase (Osgood, the girl with the scarf and the bowtie)?

SPOILERS FOR DEATH IN HEAVEN:
She was turned into ash by Missy, but apparently is coming back. Time travel is a thing, so this could be pre-disintegration? The two-part story also features the Zygons and supposedly follows up on the Day of the Doctor, where the Doctors made a room full of people and their Zygon doubles forget who was who, so it's possible that this is the Zygon version of her OR the human version, as the Zygon version was disintegrated? Her Doctor clothing article appears to be the #7's question mark jumper.

Anyway, that story is written by the same guy who wrote Kill the Moon so it will probably be a steaming crock of shit.

Ah, Kill The Moon. The episode that the trailers made look like a good old-fashioned monster story with an interesting moral dilemma but was so riddled with weird science and unsuspension of disbelief (as well as very quick dismissal of the survival elements) that it just turned to blah. I still like the effect that it had on Clara's character arc, though, so I can't write it off as complete shit.

But the same guy's doing another episode? Please, for the love of god, let it not be as awful as last time. Also, we need more of the guy that did Mummy on the Orient Express and Flatline. That was some of the best Doctor Who I've seen in a long, long time.

Jamie Mathieson wrote Flatline and Mummy, and I agree they were the standout episodes of the last series. I especially loved the concept behind Flatline, and the execution didn't disappoint either.

The good news is he is writing/has written an episode for the coming series! It's a two-part, but he is working with Steven Moffat and Catherine Tregenna on it (she wrote the Torchwood episodes Out of Time, Captain Jack Harkness, Meat, and Adam). I have high hopes.
