No, Twilight is still gonna fill the same role. She's just gonna have wings and be slightly taller. Like, past the premiere, everything is going to be status quo. It's been all but confirmed.

The only major change in her character that I'm expecting is just having more responsibilities. I'd think it'd be kinda weird if there are no changes at all.

Also wow I was expecting the new season to start in the beginning of November, not towards the end. That kinda stinks.

Season three has only just been aired in the UK, lord knows what happened to season two because none of the cartoon channels here bothered to air it.

I don't really think that season three came off that badly - the stories may have been lacking a little... something, but I certainly didn't feel it came off as badly as some people made it out to be.

Supposedly the 'Equestria Girls' movie BLECK! is going to be shown on one of the cartoon channels this weekend; I don't think I'll be watching it.



Yeah, I didn't really like the Shining Armour story.

It was kinda dull - but I tend to be put off by most 'American High School Teen Drama' stories BLECK! anyway.

Tbh, most of season 3 was eh with maybe 2 episodes I would consider wholly enjoyable, but holy shit were the finale and keep calm and flutter on terrible. On Equestria Girls, I will say that the first... 6(?) minutes are good. You know, the part of Equestria Girls that has nothing to do with the entire premise of Equestria Girls. It actually shows Twilight's apprehension to being a princess and not just a toy commercial.

Speaking proncis twilurt, season 4 airs the saturday after next. It's the episodes from the animatic with nightmare moon

Keep Calm and Flutter On was entirely unconvincing - I didn't buy for a minute that Discord would be 'converted' through the course of such a badly written and uninspired story - you could even hear through De Lancie's reading of the script that he was entirely unconvinced of his character's 'transformation'/newfound belief in the 'powar of frondship'.

The finale's story concept was a promising one - it just wasn't executed as brilliantly as it could have been.

The finale was originally meant to be a 2 parter, but DHX just couldn't get it. That would've solved the hideous pacing issue, but the songs would have still be mostly bad. The best thing I could say about them is that they're catchy, which isn't necessarily good. Except Celestia's Ballad. That was legitimately good.

New episodes are starting on Saturday. I'm...honestly not that hyped.

I'm trying not to get hyped, but this episode has far too much potential. My only hope right now is that it doesn't suck outright. Meghan is writing it and well, at her worst she's Equestria Girls/Crystal Empire and at her best she's Lesson Zero, so it's anyone's call.

I just hope this will be a full season and not a few episodes long like 3 was.
