Another fun episode today. Better pacing and less confusing than last week, exciting, the way it has to be.

So next week, the doctor takes Clara's babysitting kids with him because... they will tell their parents that Clara is a time traveler else.
Yeah, like they'd believe that.

That was different. Particularly the flash-back with old-timey effects.
Pleasant bit: it was not the grand intellect.
Though the bit with Thomas Thomas Ha, he's a TomTom was just so random. Sure, it was kind of funny. But seriously left field and no actual impact on the plot in any way.
And where did the kids even find those photos?

Going back to past couple episodes. Was I the only one to think it odd for Doctor and Clara to just show up looking for the ghost, already knowing about the guy and what hes doing? "Hi, you're looking for ghost. I just thought of you, don't know how it turned out, so I thought I'd see in person." Is that how they decided?

Well, it's a short gag, it's not supposed to make any impact.

Probably found one on the internet coincidentally and then searched for others.

"Hey Clara, wanna go to a ghost house?"
"Sure!"

IIRC the reason the Doctor took Clara there was to see if the medium knew anything about the Mystery [tm], and it had to be disguised as an adventure so ghosts.

Anything that was "told to the sun by a source" is to be taken with a whole ocean's worth of salt.

Well...that last episode was sadly disappointing. I mean, it was good compared to most other episodes this season, but it was still rather weak. I heard it got shortened a lot, so maybe it'll be unabridged on the DVD release. Still, I'd like to blame Moffat for this episode's flaws. This is what happens when you don't allow any two-parters, moron. :shakefist:

I swear, if that's true, I'm fucking quitting Doctor Who until Moffat gets booted. When you can't get an actor back to play his role in an episode, you find a way to write him out of the script! You don't screw over the continuity of the series, you idiot!

Yeah, the pacing in this episode was weird as shit, I had no idea what was going on for a good two thirds of it.

I could tell what was going on for the most part, but it felt so rushed. It had a million great ideas, but it didn't make good use of any of them. They had better release the unabridged version on DVD and/or on iTunes. I blame Moffat partly because I can't believe Neil would do something this awful.

I am so fucking mad oh my god this episode made me so goddamn mad, and yes I am aware how redundant that is

Doctor Who was actually on the track to becoming decent again and then nightmare In Silver happened and it had to make a quick stop and then this episode was like the penny on the track that made it fly into a gigantic TARDIS of disappointment and rage
