was so excited about it, and thought it was incredible. His friends has been telling him all about it too. I can already tell we'll be making tons more trips to the lego store and that he will be quoting it for weeks.

You ever notice how in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, there is this hallway full of enchanted suits of armor, all of them armed with spears? Where are those guys when the castle is being stormed by the villagers?

Saw Inception at my buddy's. I'm not enough of a movie buff to critically analyze it but I really liked it for the most part. I was totally on board the whole time but the main issue the movie had was that even though it was long, it still felt like they had too much to cover and some aspects of it were left underutilized.

Also that cliffhanger was so obvious. Not in a bad way but I can't imagine them not ending the movie like that.

My then-girlfriend watched it with me for the first time when we were Seniors in high school, and the ending made her legit angry.

And then everyone started analyzing the piss out of it to canonize one ending or another, when the entire point of Nolan's directing was that it stay a mystery. He didn't know himself whether it would be better one way or the other, and intentionally included details that poked holes in either theory, such as Cobb's children being played by two different, slightly older kids.

The cast playing the Fantastic Four in the upcoming reboot was announced today. Holy crap, this is the worst casting I've ever seen for a movie. JOHNNY AND SUE STORM AREN'T EVEN THE SAME RACE. I'm not trying to be racist, THEY ARE BIOLOGICAL SIBLINGS, THIS MAKES NO SENSE. And the guy playing THE THING is the skinniest guy I have ever seen in my life. What could you possibly be thinking?

They only make FF movies to prevent the copyright from reverting back to Marvel. So they don't even bother to try to make it good.

Yeah, I'm sure they won't even bother to make some actual cheddar by making a good movie. Why would they even care about being succesful at the box office?

I dunno, why don't you ask them since they did the same thing in 2005 and 2007? If they cared about being successful then they wouldn't be repeating a mistake for the third time.

Uh, the first two movies werent super great or anything, but how are they dialed in exactly? The only thing I really hated about those movies was their version of Dr Doom, the rest seemed fine to me.
