Yeah, I'm kind of actually looking forward to that.
It's not a batman movie, it's LEGO. It's goofy, and from the looks of things, won't be terrible!

Am I right in assuming he's yellow because the Green Lanterns have always had a bit of a problem with that particular shade of the colour spectrum? Because wow.

That's the idea yes. How the yellow thing precisely works is quite complicated though and it's been a thing and then not a thing and then it was canonically explained why it was a thing and then not a thing and I don't even know if it's a thing in current canon or at the time that comic was made, but really who cares even.

Just saw Wolf Children. Didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. But now I want to grow potatoes.

It's a rather nice Ghibli-esqu movie in my opinion. Basically slice of life with a drop of supernatural thrown in.
I showed it to my sister, she found the circumstances of the parents first doing it questionable and somewhat creepy. Can't really blame her.
The one thing she kept mentioning though washow sad it was their dad died.

My problem was I felt the themes that they potentially had were under-explored.

In the end I understood why Asian parents just want their kids to go to school, get a good job and look after mum and dad when they get old.

It was a good movie but I really did not like it because it from the point where the dad dies I was extremely sad and couldn't stop crying. Especially at the ending goddamn

The thing that sort of bothered me was that neither of them tried to live as wolf-children, instead they rejected and accepted it respectively. I was also expecting more of it animation-wise but it still had some great scenes.

Supernatural elements aside the film was very relatable for me as their situation mirrored my own family's growing up.

I like Hosada's films, they're fantastical but still down to earth. Summer Wars was kinda boring though, Our War Game was fine Hosada you didn't need to make it again

Thor: The Dark World is not a very good movie. It is, however, an enjoyable one. Watch it if you want a non-surprising superhero movie about Norse alien humans fight magic space elves in what is clearly not 40k.

Also, that last part with the Collector looked ridiculous. Whoever thought that this guy belongs in this movie should be shot.
