They're still better than saw and serbian film and whatever else. Those are just torture porn.

Those two movies aren't comparable at all. The first three Saw movies are decent horror movies.

Dreamworks are you high

"yes this segment from a 54-year-old cartoon is PERFECT for making a family movie. the adults will hate the changes and the kids don't know dick about the original!"

Hey man, I didn't know Over the Hedge was a comic strip before I saw the movie when I was a kid, and it.....still sucked. So, umm.....

Who cares.

It's a silly cartoon movie. If it's anything like the old series it might even be educational. You don't need knowledge of the former show to enjoy a new adaptation.

It'll probably involve various historical figures going on wacky adventures with then a la Bill and Ted, as well as give Sherman a romantic interest that never existed in the original version. I can't want to see breakdancing Napoleon Bonaparte.

I've been watching some old subbed chinese movies known as Mr Vampire. Those aren't their chinese names, which is why Mr Vampire 3 is about ghosts and black mages and not jiang shi, but they've been really good so far.

See: how I got into Star Trek.

Who cares if the new movies aren't perfectly aligned with the original series. Liking the new movies is what motivated me to actually check out the old stuff in the first place.

At least this looks better than the cloudy with a chance of meatballs movie.

Though strangely people seemed to enjoy that despite it being basically a heap of terribly cliche puns.

But Kamak, isn't it an AZ pastime to make and enjoy puns all the time?

That movie just looks really annoying and stupid to me.

I only enjoy clever puns or ones made to annoy people, which are the type I am proficient in.

The type of pun where someone says it and makes a cheeky grin and eyebrow waggle combo about how clever they are and in the hopes you get the super obvious joke is when puns become the most god awful shit. Especially when it becomes the underlying basis and humor for a movie.

I barely stomached the bullshit from the first movie. I think the sequel would kill me.

Was that show actually educational, or was it "educational" as in it uses the regular lies and misconceptions passed off as facts like what they teach younger kids?

Are people actually complaining that Mr. Peabody will be a concept that the target audience HASN'T seen before?

I'm not sure how kuch sense that makes, especially since the target audience is going to be too young to even have those cynical views of what's "better", and "why" anyway. Besides, does this now mean we can all stop complaining about reposts in the other threads, since you apparently need to have already seen something to appreciate it?

And my friends and I saw the Spaghettimeatballs movie FOR the ridiculous puns. You guys are cynical over the weirdest things.
