It's really weird that they're making Ultron the villain of the film considering the Ant-Man movie won't be getting released until after Avengers 2.

Well apparently Whedon said Ant-Man won't be the creator of Ultron so there goes that important character point I guess.

Maybe he's not the creator, but I could see him setting up the Ant-Man story with Avengers 2 all the same.

Besides the movies have already changed several things from the comics so whatever as long as it's done well not really a loss.

edit: also another thing to note is that whedon also said that coulson was dead and we can all see how true that was

Well the thing is that the Ultron-Pym relationship was one of the most interesting aspects of both characters, so I'm curious what they're going to do to make up for that. Also they might make Stark the creator instead and that could lead to Stark over-shadowing Pym as a character.

I'm fine with that, in fact I think that one bit in Iron Man 3 could be said to foreshadow it. When the suit activated on its own in response to Tony's nightmare sleep.

If Stark overshadows Pym, what's the point of even adding him?

I've heard talk that Phase 2 is going to include several stand-alone plots, like Guardians of the Galaxy, instead of every movie building towards a team-up film. Ant Man might actually be a solo character, seeing as the Avengers are already pretty loaded.

Finally watched DREDD, loved it, its just like what a day in Judge Dredds life would be like. It doesnt need to cover the plots of one of the larger Dredd storylines to be engaging

Pacific Rim is just the absolute most perfect action movie to ever exist. There is not a single second that is not filled with happiness

Id really like it if every movie didnt have to be 99% CGI now. Say what you want about clunky animatronics and guys in costumes, but atleast you could tell it was real, and not a ridiculously obvious computer abortion
