AWKWARD ZOMBIE

So Star Trek Into Darkness. I liked it. So much, in fact, that I can't really find anything that I didn't like about it, which is rare for me. Definitely the best movie I've seen so far this summer.

I understand your concerns. However, since you've chosen to cite them memetically and as though I'm directing the abuse at something what's feelings can be hurt when in fact it cannot, I shall respond in kind:




I plan to see the movie first, on opening day no less. As much as I disapprove of what I've seen so far, it could be the unintentional masterpiece that redeems its original concept with whole new, original awesomeness for all I know. I am justified in having every doubt in the world.

I appreciate your worrying about my well-being, and I'm well aware of the risks that I could be immediately run off or arrested by the constant police presence at the Rave theater I'm going to picket. I also realize there's a severe chance I'll only humiliate myself or be branded a terrorist for wearing a mask; we live in terrible times for civility.

However, my sign's not going to bash the people, it's going to bash the film. ...kind of. I was thinking something along the lines of: "Please don't pay to see WWZ." On the flipside, it'll say: "WWZ is a terrible film. Ask me!"

I figure a chubby white guy in a silly mask would make me affably nonthreatening, so people are more likely to humor me- even if it's just to talk to the idiot out front being politely judgmental of modern media in a Guy Fawkes mask. I expect to be on someone's esoteric youtube page.

Any suggestions for tweaks? I'm willing to listen if you care about me.

It was great seeing Jumanji again. I got some of the jokes that I didn't when I was younger. Especially at the end when the parents said they were thinking of going skiing in the Rockies, and the two adults (wow forgot their names already) yelled "NO!!!" Had to explain to my little brother that they died on that trip, so now they're not going to die.

Sammy Jackson was such a motherfucker in that movie despite being in a wheelchair.

There's a remake coming next year.

The Purge made a 1200% profit in its opening weekend.

I give up.

I bet it hits the same crowd that liked SAW.
