He's hijacked a firetruck before, stealing a motorcycle and riding it out of a skyscraper is obviously the next logical step.

Matt Smith stars as the Joker in: Nicolas Cage's Ghost Rider
The main villain is that growth on Oswin's cheek.

The Joker didn't invent purple coats, guys.

Is it showing my age that the poster made me think of this:

Whining about a colorful outfit on The Doctor? Does anybody remember 5 and 6? But 6 especially, though, holy crap. Everyone's going "B-but muh brown trenchcoat and moody colors..."

That's not what I'm whining about.

So what do you take issue with? Him doing action movie things or the ridiculousness of driving out of a skyscraper with a motorcycle?

That poster has a few shots of a guy with a fancy hat, but no eyes, and pale white skin.

Dad Egbert confirmed for Doctor Who Villain.

I think I see Zycorax in that picture.

Also, have we figured out how the TARDIS blows up?

Doubleposting to remind you all that Doctor Who returns in 14 days, and here is a COMING SOON video where the Doctor fails to fly a plane.

Also I am rewatching The Power of Three and I didn't remember the part with Brian Cox.

I rewatched The Snowmen last night, and I reiterate my optimism for the character of Clara.

Also love the new TARDIS interior.

Doubleposting because slowest thread ever and nobody will look at this thread unless there are new posts so whatever.

If you were introducing someone to the show, what stand-out episodes would you make them watch first? Because lets face it, if they saw The Eleventh Hour or Rose or even An Unearthly Child (not likely), they probably wouldn't be entirely thrilled.

I start people with The Girl in the Fireplace. It really has everything Doctor Who in it: The past, the future, it introduces the TARDIS (Mickey's first time in it), has a freaky/scary monster-of-the-week, it's fun, and pulls at your emotions.

If they want MOOOOREEEE, then I pitch Tooth and Claw, Vincent and the Doctor, and Dalek. One for each of the new Doctors, and then I let them pick.
Tooth and Claw is a scary episode, Vincent and the Doctor is a sad episode, and Dalek is a fun episode (tons o' death in Dalek, but it still is fun/funny by virtue of this episode being about a condiment shaker that fires deathlasers.).

THIS IS AN ATTEMPT AT STARTING DISCUSSION WHOA NEVER HAD THAT IN THIS THREAD BEFORE
