I never actually participated much in the discussion of the comic despite being one of their forum proletariats, but I do remember we kept an entire separate Vriska discussion thread quarantine style.

It was bodaciously called the Vriska quarantine thread, because every argument about Vriska derailed every topic for pages at a time. I think by the time the forum went down it had somewhere along the lines of 1,400 pages or so. (over 14 threads)

Spidertrolls are contentious topics. Not too surprising when a character's motivation is largely "I'm going to make this story about me now" that people tend to get split love/hate on her in the process.
