I'm probably gonna be playing a lot of bastion, personally.

also, they have a youtube channel where they've been putting up gameplays and stuff. go watch it.

Please change the title so people know this is an Overwatch thread, some people might not catch on to the word corruption.

I'm madly hyped at Overwatch, I'm really excited to try some of these guys, but I'm afraid that Trace might be a bit OP early on.

Tracer and Phara also look pretty cool, along with Bastion. So many characters I wanna try.

tracer looks to be the new "pro skill based" like the scoot

from the actual gameplay footage on their channel there was some extreme work put in by the tracer zipping in to plant a bomb rq at the right spot.

not sure who im gonna play much of yet

Soldier 74 looks interesting, he seems to be based off of generic FPS army men, regenerating health, an assault rifle, etc, I'd play him.

On the one hand I hate soldier 76 because he's so generic.

But on the other hand it's genius because i'm pretty sure it was intentional.

76 has one more ability than everyone else...

I wonder if they'll give each of the others an extra ability to balance that out.

i actually like 76's design a lot what with that bright blue

also he has a sprint so he's probably the go fast character and that's what i'm all about

tracer kinda looks like she's not speed focused so much as mobility focused

which are two different things

i don't need to be jumping around and dodging a bunch

i want to go from point a to point b

Yeah, but she can move from one spot to another in under a second. I'm pretty sure that qualifies as fast.

she has three like, blinks, but the whole purpose of those is to reverse and use them as a mobility factor. to get in and escape. they're also not very long.

comparatively, a constant and sustained sprint could travel a farther distance, maybe not faster than the blink, but for a long enough period of time to actually be useful for getting places. which is what i like doing. getting to places.

also compared to tracer, 76 seems much less hit-and-run focused and more constant unyielding offense. which is also what i'm best at.
