Considering how popular Valve is on this board, I'm astonished this thread hasn't been made. Anyway, I just picked up several copies of this for me and my friends over the past few weeks on Xbox, and I have to say, it's pretty fun. Granted, Matchmaking with Friends is completely and utterly broken, and the lack of a server browser is a bit offputting, but once you find a game or just start up a private one, it's fantastic. If anyone wants to play on Xbox, add MAHVEL BAYBEH. Otherwise, feel free to discuss.

Also, PC version will probably be the de-facto competition platform. The skill ceiling is higher. I have been playing it a bit and it is a lot of fun, but like all other CS versions, you are either the god on the server or you get beaten into a pulp. It's never a fair fight

I was seconds away from getting this when I discovered I had 1200 Microsoft points just collecting dust. Then I remembered I had Battlefield 3

This game has a completely different intention than BF3, just saying.

I don't know how you could play CS on a console. I was also in the beta, and the game felt a lot better than Source, but i'm still not a huge CS fan, so I think I'll only get this during a Summer/Winter sale when it's really cheap.

They're using all of the cheddar they would use for CS:GO console patches and using them for hats in DOTA 2.
