hey guys, vyn here. I came across this little gem while going through the steam store and remembered my friends saying i *needed* to play it. Needless to say, i did, and OMIGODTHISGAMEISFUCKINAWESOME!!!!
anyway, just talk about random shit that pertains to this game (organizing guilds, showing screens of awesome chars, ect.)

it'd be nice if you actually said something about the game

like what it even is

it's a browser based hybrid between an MMORPG and an arcade shooter

quick paced, more about immediate gratification than the usual grind fest of mmos

pretty fun, unlockable classes, loot to play with

think it started life as one of the ludum dare competitions

Been playing consistently since TB's WTF Is in the fall season. Currently have a 2/8 maxed Wizard decked in some moderately high (and one old top) gear. I also have a knight account that I plan on building up afterwards as my "RUSH THE BOSSES GET THE LOOTS" kind of guy.

A tip for new guys, stay away from godlands till you have some decent gear/levels. I can head there at level 10 on most classes that have good speed stats but I reserve gear for the inevitable death so I'm on par or better than most of the 20's who are there gearwise. It's just dodging the bullets and after that you're golden.

EDIT: Just got an Agateclaw drop fuck yeah.
EDIT 2: Astral Staff today, man I'm just loading up on tier 11 items.

I feel like I'm missing out on a great deal of the game, because it seems really repetitive and pointless. Also, what does fame do and how do I get gold

Gold you buy with dolla dolla bills, fame is the currency of when you die.
Die a bajillion times and you can buy an ammy which is worth like $50 if you sell them on the forums via paypal.

Also play wizard/priest to get started and bind your nexus hotkey somewhere you can smash immediately.
My main wizard hasn't died in months.

Found out how to change my name. Found out there's not enough space for BeatBoxingBoo. Found out SOMEBODY ALREADY TOOK bbb. I am in a huge fucking conflict now, I have no idea how to shorten my name without making it look super awkward.

Yeah, they buffed melee classes and did some balance changes focusing around the melee classes. Though knights shields did get a nerf in armor buff. Honestly I think white demons got nerfed too hard, they're just so easy to murder in droves. They did add a new normal god, Leviathan which can shotgun most people if they're caught off guard in an instant, making them the highest priority to murder for me.

Oryx was buffed with more abilities recently and given a castle prelude area that tends to weed out new characters and the foolish.
A slew of new event bosses (LotLL, Sphinx, Hermit, and Kage) and associated dungeons which are fairly hardcore (Tomb, Trench, and Manor).
Tomb just murders the crap out of people, it is daisies hard. Trench I've done with a single other mostly potted person, Manor I've solo'd.
