Heroes of Might and Magic

Have any of you ever played this series? It's one of my favourite PC games, played it since I was a kid, still love it.

You can get V and VI on steam, although I've only played the demo for VI, I found it pretty lack, but V is a pretty good game, with the expansions, if you do want to get this though, only buy tribes of the east, it comes with everything, don't be a derp like me and buy the whole pack thinking I needed it all.

The multiplayer is the greatest thing EVER, so you guys should play with me.

If you can't afford to get V or VI over steam, you can PM me on how to get heroes III, considered the best of the series, it's a pretty awesome game, and we could play over hamachi.

Nah, it's basically a completely different series, the name just lends itself to so many games. I just think I'm the only person who's played the original Might and Magic series ever. :T

Well, do you know if the game on steam has to do with heroes of might and magic, or if it's just Might and magic: Heroes 6

I have a new topic about the original series. Heroes is an offshoot or something, but it does refer to the one on Steam. The offshoot, I mean.

I have Heroes of Might and Magic 5 with both of the expansion packs (I am a Derp and bought both as well...).My favorite faction would probably be Necropolis, because you can big armies pretty quick and take down most people while they are still preparing. Haven ad Dungeon are also fun to play with.

Haven is my fav, with dougal being my hero to start with, something about being able to kill stuff dead with archers makes me pop flyin'.

I've only played Dark Messiah which was really goddamn stupid but the combat is a ton of fun.

Rampart is the best. Unicorns kill everything.. unless you accidentally kill them with your own dragon. Then you're pretty much dead yourself.
