Because the games mainly about besting scores, not racing at the same time. So instead of split screen, you controller pass, and every friend tries to fuck with you when you're about to get under two minutes on the Rocky race.

That's just an idea I came up with. The SSX team got like, as minimalist a budget as possible, since EA didn't even want the game and said it would flop. The team worked with what they had over a while and I'm pretty impressed with all the content they managed to fit in.

Oh yeah, and post music for your game, as you can import your own tracks, which SSX auto remixes

You put the music files on your console of choice, and then just choose them in the game to play with your soundtrack or make your own. Some Burnouts have had this.

Sweet. I liked most of the SSX3 soundtrack but it also had some songs I detested (mainly the boy rock bands) so this is definitely an improvement. Still not sure about when I'll get the game though. It would be stupid for me to get it at launch because I still have many other games to play. Might as well wait until a price a drop.
Songs can be directly copied from a USB stick, right?

this game introduced me to The Naked and Famous, which is an awesome band. I will most definitely be getting it.

USB stick or a direct plugin from anything with music on it, phone/MP3 player etc

my old 360 siphoned songs directly from my ipod so you can probably use anything that can hold music.
