Phoenix Wright: Adventures in Feudal Los Angeles

A new Phoenix Wright game is in development for the 3DS, The Great Ace Attorney, and it appears that it will serve as a prequel to the previous games.

There's gonna be a new protagonist, an ancestor of Phoenix Wright, and most likely an entirely new cast with the game set in Meiji-era Japan.

Thoughts? Personally, I would like to see if the Feys could get involved again in this game. Might provide plenty of opportunity for backstory.

That's Meiji Los Angeles, not Feudal.

I'm curious how this'll translate to the west though, should they ever localize it.

I imagine they'll probably leave it in Japan, the first game is fairly... generic? when it comes to setting, so they just decided to localize it, and they didn't want to go 'lol, jk, it's Japan' as it got less so. This one it's easier to say that at some point one of Phoenix's more recent family members moved to California.

Unless they decide to play it as a joke.

Apparently Sherlock Holmes will be appearing in this game!

And what's a Holmes without a Watson?

I was just going to do that. Seriously, Watson had to have started medical school while she was still in the womb for crying out loud. xD

Although, I think at this point that they just know their reputation for ridiculousness and they're playing with it.
