So everyone knows about Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City coming out, giving you the ability to move and shoot, unlike the games from the main series. Where you play as one of (currently) six operatives of the Umbrella Security Service. Not only will you be fighting zombies, but you'll also be fighting government agents and the protagonists of Resident Evil 2. The game will be team-based and from what my understanding, you won't be able to have all four of you just sitting in one spot taking out the horde, you'll need to move and finish your mission at least somewhat quickly. You can also become infected, temporarily you will have control, allowing you to slip past zombies and attack certain enemies, but eventually you lose control and an ally will have to kill you before you can respawn It's also not being made by Capcom but Slant Six Games. There will also be multiplayer capability probably being similar to Team Versus in Resident Evil 5 but more Team based.
But hey look at this:
Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Code Veronica remastered? Coming to Xbox 360 and PSN? Fuck yes.

"An image of the logo for Resident Evil 6 was first leaked at the San Diego Comic-Con on July 22nd 2011 accompanied by a message stating that more information would be revealed come Tokyo Game Show on September 15th 2011."
'Dragoon stop lying to us'

Nope : D
I'm still deciding if I want Raccoon City. If enough people get it, I guess I'll get it just to play with them, but Revival Selection I'm getting for sure.
Me and some friends tried playing through the original resident evil, we got pretty far, but eventually got bored. Was pretty fun though, "Sweet jesus, dogs, RUN AWAY". Also the doors opening slow as fuck and, not to mention stairs.
No, it's a refrence to the theme of the game, which is Biopunk, which is the exploration of the manipulation of DNA and what that means for a culture. Rapture's art style is 50's deco.
Also, Biological Shock, as in you're changing your very code to life.
Also, Adam and Eve combined ruined Utopia. Splicing ADAM and EVE ruined Rapture.
The only issue with Biohazard/Resident Evil is the RE was a good name when it was contained small incidents in mansions and shit. Now Biohazard kinda fits the worldwide bioweapon investigation thing.
Still a terrible name. RE5 is p. great, if not a bit short once you have unlimited weapons n' shit. HANDCANNOOOOON
I heard Bioshock was the sequel to the Systemshocks, but EA(I think it was them) got their hands on the license in between somehow, so the developers were forced to change the name and the setting.
I always played those coop things where you have to kill as much zombies in a limited amount of time.
It's a sequel in theme since System couldn't be made a 3rd, they do however love the political and socialogical aspects of their new direction. Bioshock 2 was a cash grab, although there were a lot of very good and interesting ideas, the main villian was not as captivating as Ryan and Atlas' conflict.
